Poetry Semi-Finalists

Room 9 completed their oral language poetry presentations this week. Mrs Wood was very proud of everyone! Each and every person, did an amazing job of their presentation. It was very hard to choose the semi-finalists.

We would like to congratulate Amelia and Emma, our Year 3 semi-finalists. And Zac, Bea and Evie, who are our finalists from Year 4. Our Middle Team 'semi-finals' will take place in Week 7.

Today we held our annual 'Book Week Character Parade'. Don't our character costumes look fantastic!

Book door for book week

This week, the classes of the Middle Team have been creating book doors based on a picture book, as part of 'Book Week'. We chose to create a door based on 'Pig the Pug'.

Penpals

Today we got an envelope in the mail from our penpals at Omanu School. We really enjoyed reading the letters, and have written some back to them. They are being sent in the mail next week!
