International Day Parade

Today we had an international day parade to celebrate the fact that we are a diverse school, with lots of different cultures. It was also to farewell our visitors from Gifu, Japan.

Riri also played some traditional Chinese instruments - he was amazing!

Toy Making

We created toys as part of our unit. There were soft toys, cars, swords, slime and lots more. Look at the video clip to see some of our creations.

Term 3 is here!

Welcome back to Term 3 everyone.
It is set to be a busy term, starting off with International Week this week!

Some important dates to know for this term are ...

Week One 

• Tues: 24th July - Gifu (Japan) visitors arrive at school
• Fri: 27th July - International Day Parade

Week Two 

• Mon: 30th July - Cross Country Morning (Postponement Day - Wed 1st Aug)
• Tues: 31st July - Football coaching (Each Tuesday for the next five weeks)
• Fri: 3rd Aug - Room 13 Assembly at 2pm

Week Three

• Fri: 10th Aug - PTA Ice-skating Evening (5 - 7pm)

Week Four

• Tues: 14th Aug - ICAS Math Exam
• Fri: 17th Aug - Model 1B Assembly

Week Five

• Thurs: 23rd Aug -GSNS Open Night (More information about this closer to the time)

Week Six

• Mon: 27th Aug - North Zone Cross Country (Postponement Day Wed 29th Aug)
• Fri: 31st Aug - Room 8 Assembly

Week Eight

• Fri: 14th Sept - Room 11 Assembly

Week Ten

• Fri: 28th Sept - Room 4 Assembly  & Final Day of the Term!

I have put together a page where you can find all the math website links in one place.

If you go to the right hand side bar of our blog page, you will see a title that says 'labels'. Under this is a button that says 'Math Websites'. If you click on this button, it will take you to a page with all the math games that have been posted on it.

Rather than having to scroll through our whole blog, this is a much easier way of finding the games.
